Our printed paper bowls are made of 100 per cent renewable resources, a heavy-duty FSC® MIX paperboard lined with Ingeo™ PLA bioplastic. Unlike PE linings manufactured from petrochemicals, PLA is produced from plant feedstocks such as corn, cassava, sugar cane or beets and provides insulation, water and oil resistance. Ideal for deli cabinets and event catering, whether you are serving granola, smoothie bowls or salad, two size options are available: 420ml and 560ml. Custom-designed paper and PLA lids provide a secure fit. Lids are sold separately.

Industrial Composting

Our paper bowls are certified compostable to the EN 13432 and ASTM D6400 standards for industrial composting, verified by DIN CERTCO and BPI, which requires the compostable product to:

1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and

2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
