Available in 250ml and 350ml, our stemless wine cups are a popular purchase for event organisers and vendors attending festivals, trade shows and similar events. Made from the Ingeo™ brand of polylactic acid (PLA) bioplastic produced from renewable feedstocks such as corn, sugar cane or beets, these cups retain the functionality and usefulness of PET petrochemical plastic cups but can be diverted from landfills where compost programmes exist.

Shelf life: Our bioplastic products have a 12-month shelf life from date of purchase. Store bioplastics out of direct sunlight and below 35°C. Incorrect storage reduces product stability and shelf life.

Industrial Composting
Our clear cups and lids are certified compostable to the ASTM D6400 standards for industrial composting, verified by BPI, which requires the compostable product to:
1) disintegrate after 12 weeks, and
2) completely biodegrade after six months. (This means that 90% or more of the material will have been converted to CO2. The remaining share is converted into water and biomass – i.e. valuable compost.)
