These 90mm lids provide a secure, leak-proof fit for our 285ml to 500ml paper cups, which are popular on the food truck circuit; the 500ml is your classic milkshake cup paired with a regular or jumbo paper straw. Made of 100% renewable resources, low-emission Ingeo™ bioplastic and certified industrially compostable, these lids offer an alternative to fossil-fuel plastics in our takeaways.

End of Life

EcoCups and lids are certified compostable, so when disposed of in industrial compost facilities with specific environmental conditions, the product will disintegrate after 12 weeks and completely biodegrade after six months, meaning that 90 per cent or more of the material will have been converted to carbon dioxide, the remaining materials are biotransformed into other natural substances such as biomass, water, and to be used in agriculture (humus/fertiliser).
